In the current business scenario if you want the customer to appreciate the transaction with you then negotiate hard and deliver more. He will never forget the experience of dealing with you. Customers now look for a solution that will solve a problem. Any one can sell a product but you have to learn to sell the value of the product. There is a premium in selling positively differentiated products.Differentiation should add value to the service or product or the buying experience. If your product provides higher value for the customer you can fetch a premium for the same. But then continuous differentiation strategy is required as others will catch up soon.
