A mighty Rock can be pulverized by flowing water
A man as hard as a stone can be softened by his daughter
It’s the softness that conquers the hardness
It’s the feminine which ultimately holds the harness.
Rocks can break but water can’t be destroyed
Water changes its form and gets reemployed
It’s the repetitive flow of water that makes a mark
It’s with soft words that you can tame a shark.
Water can quench a million thirsts and lies low
In front of humble sage a mighty king shall bow
It’s the soft, humble and yielding whose face shall glow
It’s the ever low lying water that can form a rain bow. – Vasant Khisty
Lao Tzu is a Chinese Philosopher of 6th Century BC. He has written his philosophies based on nature. He describes that the softness can conquer the hardness. It’s the softness of water which repeatedly flows on the rock can pulverize the mountain into dust. Similarly softness like a woman can destroy a strong hard and rigid man.

Write commentsI do not agree to this ( A man as hard as a stone can be softened by his daughter) he can be softened by his mother or wife also.
Replyarre it was rhyming properly. No other reason
ReplyDaughter rhymed with the word water
