Commandments of GodWhy should I by heart the scriptures
And why should I worship the Pictures
For you gave two commandments lord
Love they neighbor as thy self
And there is only and only one God.
Men read scriptures again and again
By hearting like a parrot has no gain
One can't be priest by just reading a book
One can't be priest by just reading a book
If he hasn’t read the four letters of Love
He is as good and as holy as a crook.
And standing on it five times he shall bray
God is not deaf for not to hear you pray

This poem has been inspired by the thoughts of Sant Kabir and the two commandments of Jesus Crist. In the name of religion we are being misguided. The whole crux of any scripture is Love, and if you don’t understand love and compassion to human being and every creation of God its futile reading the big books which has interpretations written by human beings to suit their conviniences.
