God has given us a tongue
And tongue is not to wagJust not meant to brag.
Keep your words soft
As soft as a petal of rose
Some times they come back
In the form of a bitter dose.
If you speak about yourself
The world will not speak of you
Use your tongue to praise others
Or you will have listeners few.
Saint kabir says that speak such words that the next man gets intoxicated. Let your words soothe yourself and soothe others. When we use our tongue to spew poison, half of it slips inside your body and does more harm to you.
