sound of silence

In human intercourse the tragedy begins, not when there is misunderstanding about words, but when silence is not understood. Henry David Thoreau

Silence has more words
Than a book of scriptures
Silence displays itself more
Than a book full of pictures.

In the court of human beings
Silence is the best argument
In the court of God almighty
Silence is the only judgment.

Silence is deeper than ocean
Speech fades away with life
Speech hurts like a hammer
But silence cuts like a knife. - Vasant Khisty

There are times when all arguments end up with silence and then silence becomes the biggest argument. Silence doesn’t mean a man has conceited defeat; it must be his way of saying it’s not worth while to justify his point
