The elderly need so little

The elderly need so little, but they need that little so much!~~Kathy Brown

Grace of elderly can’t be seen
Can’t be expressed by words
Their blessings are like yeast
Turns the milk into thick curds.

Their needs are so very little
They need that little so much
Reaching near to the home
Need more breaks, less clutch.

Visualizing their need is an art
Realize when you turn grey
What we neglect as their whisper
That’s the way, for us they pray.

This life force is charged when
It mixes with elderly’s breath
Here we sit besides their bed
Waiting eagerly for their death. . – Vasant Khisty

When elders are present at home there is an unseen grace in the house. When they are dead and gone you can feel the vacuum for years to come. We don’t realize their needs till we start getting old and that’s when we are haunted by the way treated our old people. As they grow old they are closer to God and the only thing they are capable of is praying for you and me. So let’s get our share of prayers
