Calamities are of two kinds: misfortune to ourselves, and good fortunes to others-Ambrose Bierce
As we get up in the morning every day
Two choices we have with a coffee tray
Either to make it a good and happy day
Or to end up as a bad and unhappy day.
The choice is made by your attitude
You can either thank life with gratitude
Or you make a list of things you don’t get
And sulk over your misfortune and fret.
You can enjoy your life or you can hate it
The choice is yours how you shall rate it
Count your blessings and you will be happy
Count your misfortunes you shall be snappy- Vasant Khisty
It’s a matter of perception. When we look at people higher than us we feel unfortunate. When we look down and see people less fortunate we feel blessed. We all have so much which we never count. We look at what others have and feel bad. Each morning we have tow choice, either we count our blessings and be happy or count our misfortunes and sulk. I choose to be happy as I am much more blessed than billions of people on this earth
