Success in marriage does not come merely through finding the right mate, but through being the right mate. ~Barnett R. Brickner
The Priest is chanting his prayers
And we can hear the wedding song
Let the wedding be over in two days
And celebrations remain life long.
A happy marriage is falling in love
With the same person several times
And to be consistent with your love
Through the good time or bad times.
The most awaited moment has come
Girl you are on the threshold
You don’t know what awaits you
And how the future will unfold.
When the drums have died down
And the trumpets have gone to sleep
One river shall merge into another
And they flow towards the ocean deep.
It is the fishes of small thoughts
That will create ripples in your life
Let the whales of inspiration
Inspire you to be a good loving wife. - Vasant Khisty
This is a song from a father and mother to a daughter who is getting married. Traditionally in an Indian marriage a girl goes to live with another family. When two rivers merge into each other there are ripples which die down and they then flow together till the end to meet the ocean, which is God.
Touching one,thank you Uncle
